Bayer 12 Hours of Creek to Peak

This weekend we take a break from the usual cross country events and move to the Bayer 12 Hours of Creek to Peak. This should be a blast. I know I personally plan on taking part just to have a fun time with all of you. Racers can take part in this race in many different forms such as Solo Men, Solo Women, Solo Single Speed, Duo Men, Duo Women, Duo Mixed, Clydesdales 3 Person Team, Expert 3 Person Team, Sport 3 Person Team or Women 3 Person Team. Wow, that was a mouthful! Race day registration is only $55.00 for 12 hours of racing. The action gets underway at 12 noon and with a prize table worth over $5000, you will not be disappointed! On site camping is $5.00 (electric is $20 per night).

WVMBA Trail System of the Year

For all you folks out there who think their trails are the best, now you can prove it. WVMBA is extremely excited to kick off our new Trail System of the Year Program. This award will be giving to the most deserving trail system in the state. This will be determined by number of volunteer trail work hours per year, trail conditions, system layout, trails for different ability levels, etc. This award will consist of a $500.00 cash prize that will be used to further trail improvement, along with a "WVMBA Trail System of the Year" sign to post at your main trail head. Interested trail groups can e-mail me for more details. Applications are due by August 1, 2009.

Stickers

I have heard your many requests over the past few months and I am happy to announce that your wish has come true. WVMBA stickers are back! The order has been placed and I hope to have them in this week or early next week. For just $1.00 you can show off a WVMBA sticker on your car, refrigerator, tool box or any old place. I am excited!

Jersey Re-Order

Recently we have completely sold out of WVMBA jerseys, however, if you wanted one for your own we will be placing a re-order in the next week or two. We are only doing pre-orders so if you would like one please send me an e-mail (jrpetsko@hotmail.com) with your size. Once again, no extra jerseys will be ordered, so shoot me a message if you want to reserve one. The jerseys cost $77.99.
