LOCATION: The race will wind through the closed roads of Tygart Lake State Park. Tygart Lake State Park is located in Grafton, West Virginia. From the intersection of Route 50 and 119 in Grafton, take 119 South for one mile. At the first stop light, take a left across the bridge. At the end of the bridge, take another left. Follow the signs to Tygart Lake State Park.

EVENTS: 1:30 p.m. 1K Run for Kids (approximately 1/2 mile run) 2:00 p.m. 5K Run (slightly rolling course with an extremely fast finish) 2:05 p.m. 5K Walk (same course as the 5K Run)

AWARDS: "Run Fast and Win a Turkey for Thanksgiving"

  • The top three overall finishers in the 5K Run and Walk will receive a trophy and a frozen turkey.
  • The top male and female finisher in each age division of the 5K Run will receive a medal and a frozen turkey. The second and third place finishers in each age division of the 5K Run will receive a medal.
  • All participants in the Kids 1K Fun Run will receive a medal.

AGE GROUPS: 14-under, 15-18, 19-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60 and over (age divisions for the 5K Run)

REGISTRATION: $12.00 for the 5K Run / Walk and 1K Kids Run if pre-registered by Monday, November 18th. The cost to register will be $15.00 thereafter. Kids Run entry fee is $3.00 without a T-shirt. Long sleeve T-shirts will be guaranteed to all that are pre-registered (adult sizes). Registration will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the Tygart Lake Marina (follow the signs).
