The weather report called for partly cloudy this morning so I got up to catch what I hoped would be a nice sunrise. It was pretty good, but stay tuned and I think you'll see some even better ones here in the future.

By-the-way, a tripod in the half-dark can be a little frustrating. It turned out that after a short while I really didn't need it anyway.

The horizon gets a little brighter

Our cat Max (one of three) joined me for my morning photo session but wouldn't cooperate all that much. I captured this photo of him but if anyone has any suggestions on training cats I'd love to hear it.
