Today I was off to camp on the Appalachian Trail just north of Harper's Ferry at the Ed Garvey Shelter.

It's been an annual tradition for a bunch of us to go camping for a few days during the winter. I only made it out for one night this year.

Here's a picture of the 8 of us that made it out for one or more nights. Adding to the group was "No Pain" and "Jim". An interesting pair that we met at the shelter and who camped there as well.

It was very cold but we all managed to get some sleep through all the snoring and the dogs chasing creatures in the night.
