A really nice day today and I headed of into the woods at Camp Roy Weller to hunt down some nice photos.

It really is getting more challenging to find subjects for the pictures but spending over three hours in the woods just searching I think I found a few nice items.

A green fungus grows off a frozen log

Can you actually say "pretty green fungus" and have people take you serious?

A little moss forest grows on a rock

I'm pretty sure this is a picture of moss on a rock but I guess it could be a tiny fern of some sort. Anyway, I thought it kind of looked like a dense miniature forest.

From afar this is just a big weed growing in a field. Taking a close look it gets a little more interesting.

Water splashes off a rock in a small waterfall

This little waterfall wasn't really much to look at from afar, either. And again I think it really comes to life upon a closer inspection.
