SOWV Polar Plunge: Cheat Lake Chiller

You will be plunging for a purpose, as all proceeds will go to Special Olympics West Virginia which provides year-round sports training and athletic competition to thousands of West Virginia children and adults with developmental disabilities. Plungers may wear anything they want with the exception of wet or dry suits. And hey, costumes are OK!
If the weather is really, really, really, bad check back for a new date. Post-Plunge Party starts at 4pm at Lakeview Resort.
Shuttles & Parking: There will be a shuttle bus running between Lakeview's parking lot and the plunge zone. The shuttle will begin running around 12:30 pm.
Participation Incentives: Everyone who takes part in the Polar Plunge will earn incentives based on the amount of the contribution.
- $50 ---Participation in the plunge and t-shirt (*this is the minimum donation to participate in the plunge, be sure to complete the pledge form below*)
- $200 ---Sweatshirt along with plunge and t-shirt
- $350 ---Fleece Jacket along with sweatshirt, t-shirt and a chilling plunge
- $500 ---Complimentary stay and breakfast at Lakeview Resort along with a fleece jacket, sweatshirt, plunge and t-shirt. The complimentary stay must be used the night of the plunge.

** Incentives given at Plunge site, with awards and prizes provided at Post Plunge Party starting at 4:00pm at Lakeview Resort following the Plunge. Enjoy great fun, food, and beverages!

Please note that if the plunger is younger than 18 years of age you must have a parent or legal guardian sign a release form. The release form needs to be turned in with the contribution form.
